What’a Paratha is a renowned eatery option in Lahore. They’ve created a new way to sell mouthwatering parathas by adding unique flavors and changed the typical concept of Parathas. More than 20 flavors of Paratha, Wraps, and Salads are added to their menu card, along with different sauces and a perfect combination of Chai.
Its first outlet started in fortress stadium and now they’ve established seven branches in Lahore over a short period of time. Their branches are located at Fortress Stadium, DHA, Main Market, Johar Town, Bedian Road, Mall Road, Iqbal Town and now its 8th branch is coming to Bahria Town Lahore. Recently, a billboard of What’a Paratha has been placed on main canal road which is mentioned above.
When To Open:
Well, the work is in progress but there isn’t any specific date has been announced yet for its official opening. I asked them about the opening and they told me it would be active in Town at the start of next month.
What’s Paratha is going to open at main canal road adjacent to Yasir Broast, near to PSO filling station and Timmy’s.
Punjab Medical Store has several branches in Lahore. The oldest branch of Punjab Medical Store is operational near to Wapda Town’s roundabout and one of its branches is also located at main canal road Bahria Town near to PSO filling station. This medical store is now going to open another branch within Bahria Town at Talwar Chowk. The front board has been positioned at plaza no. 1, where Q-links properties were located.
The renovation work is already started and it would be active after a week or two. Meanwhile, they’re also looking for complete trained staff including sales executive, cashier, delivery man, and maintenance person.

Everyone is familiar with the name of Bata in the footwear industry. They opened its first outlet in Bahria Town back in 2015 on the main boulevard Sector C. Now, as you can see in the above picture, another Bata outlet has opened last week in Town. It is not a flagship store like previous one, it is more like a factory outlet with a limited range of shoes and still needed to b filled with products.
This outlet was opened last week, so due to its opening they’re offering up to 50% discount on selected items.
Bats new outlet is located on main canal road, opposite to the main entrance of Bahria Town and adjacent to Zakir Tikka.
There is another option that is now available for all those who have a strong relationship with ‘Chai’ in this winter. Because last month, Chaey Shaey has opened its fourth branch in Bahria Town. According to my information, Chaey Shaey already have 3 branches at different locations of Lahore. One of its branch is also active at University of Management & Technology and one was at Allah Hoo Chowk, which is closed, before the opening in Bahria Town.
I remember that last year I have tried their Chai from Allah Hoo Chowk branch and it was quite good in taste. The price of one cup was Rs. 40 at that time, now the price of cup is Rs. 50/- at Bahria Town branch.
Chaey Shaey in Bahria Town is located at main canal road adjacent to Butt Karahi & Zakir Tikka, and opposite to makn entrance of Bahria Town.

There is hell of a mess at entrance and exit of Bahria Town. Main Canal Road has a huge traffic block at Shahkam chowk. People spend some times hours to pass through the Shahkam Chowk.
Bahria has started to make out most of what it already have. Bahria is working on Jaliana exit. Bahria made few changes at that side to bring ease to people.
- Bahria opened one more gate at Jaliana side
- Bahria take down the corner place (where you have to pass one by one). Now both side traffic can move at a same time.
- Bahria carpeted the road where needed.
- Bahria construct a road to Dream Gardens bridge.
- Bahria place there guards at Bridge so traffic can move one by one.
Above changes has made a good traffic flow but still we require much to happen.
Canal Road Construction:
Bahria is leveling up the Canal Road. For few days traffic is moving one way or through the other side of Canal. Much work is done and less is remain. Hope we’ll get a clear road in couple of days.
Golf Exit or Mirza Chowk Entrance:
Many people have also started to use the Golf exit which go through the Nargis block. That passage is clear, connect you with Raiwind Road by passing through the BNU (Beaconhouse National University).
Bahria has constructed the carpeted road where required and you save much of your time if you have to move through that side of the city.
Though we have three above mentioned exits but still the Shahakam Chowk is most important one. Govt. has approved a bridge on Defense Road which we hope to see constructed within this year. I guess that will ease down the load, until then we have to make a good use of other exits which are quite maintained now.
