Al-Fateh Store Opening Soon

Yes, you heard it right! Here is the most thrilling news for the residents of Bahria Town and all those who are the frequent shoppers of Al-Fateh departmental store. And I was thinking lately, how can we miss this oldest and the most famous departmental store in Bahria Town? Well, better late than never! Now, finally, one of the most extravagant and pioneer departmental stores of Lahore, Al-Fateh is now setting-up to open its new branch in Bahria Town. We all know that this flagship store has a humongous range of commodities. From home furnishings, beds, cushion, and kitchenware to men and women fashion, beauty essentials and electronic products. A luxury heaven for all high-end major international brands. Al-Fateh has several flagship stores across Lahore and recently at the start of this week they’ve also opened its another branch in H block, Phase-1, DHA.

Where Al-Fateh Is opening:

Well, almost a year ago, someone told Mr.Nabeel that Al-Fateh bought more than 2 kanals land somewhere near to Sector- F and planning to build their own plaza to give a similar shopping experience like the one located in Hussain Chowk. At that time, we tried to confirm the news but there weren’t any grounds for that rumour. I skipped writing about it due to the rumours. Coming next, a few days back again news was circulating referring to the official opening of Al-Fateh Store without any authentic confirmation. So, after a little deep digging the news is verified now. And, I went to the location last week and the picture of the building is also attached where Al-Fateh store is coming.

The Al-Fateh Store will open soon at Nishtar Heights, Main Boulevard, Nishtar Block, Sector E, near to Clock Chowk and Eiffel Tower. The Nishtar Heights consists of 7 to 8 floors including parking floor and basement. The complete ground floor of Nishtar Heights was occupied by different property dealers but now they all are relocated and Al-Fateh took the possession. One of the guys who was working there told me that initially, Al-Fateh’s management took only two floors basement and ground floor, maybe they will go for whole building later but it is not confirmed yet.

When To Open:

Well, they set the ball rolling and started the renovation work already. According to them, they’re planning to open it as soon as possible perhaps before Eid or at Chand Raat. But the current situation out there doesn’t go with their planning and I believe approximately it will take one and a half month more. You will hear from us soon about its official opening date.

It is always fascinating to have a mainstream departmental store like Al-Fateh, Jalal Sons, Green Valley, Victoria, and others. But, meanwhile, the only odds I feel for the other dozens of departmental stores in Bahria Town is that after having these bigger names, the smaller ones will face major effects and the sales volume will eventually decrease. So, how can small size stores will survive in the shadow of these significant stores? Share your thoughts on it in the comment section.
