The quitting of restaurants from Bahria Town is nothing new for us. In Sector D we have been observing the instability of market for years. Generally, there are hell a lot of closings in Bahria Town but recently in Sector D, Stop n Watch restaurant was closed and this time Kobeda Palace has wiped out. It was opened last year at the end of November.
I do not know when it was out from the market but I saw it yesterday on my way to friend’s place. The restaurant was closed and there was a total blackout at the location. Not to mention, I remember that I’ve tried their special baked Kobedas with crispy naan which was actually good in taste and very juicy. So, the taste wasn’t an excuse for its closure, the only major drawback is that their choice of location was totally off and couldn’t get much-needed customer’s attention. Also, they have had a very congested sitting area, without any surrounding commercial activity and the traffic flow is too low. It was located in Ayyub Tower, AA block, near to the bridge.
Here is another quick update of a newly opened medical and dental consultant which is established a few days back in Sector D. There are around 10 to 14 experienced dentists in Bahria Town that have been practicing their expertise at different locations to take care of your teeth. You can get all their contact details in the telephone directory.
The Consultants(Medical & Dental) offering all services related to dentistry including Implants, Braces, Cosmetic Dentistry included Teeth Whitening, Bonding, Veneers, and Tooth Reshaping. The contact details are mentioned below to get an appointment and more information.
The Consultants(Medical & Dental) charge Rs 500/- for a general check-up which is I think less than many other dentists in Bahria Town.
In Ramadan timings are between 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM and it would be changed after Ramadan.
The Consultants(Medical & Dental) is located at main road, Shop no 8, CC block, Sector D, near to Mcdonald’s.
It is obvious that during Ramadan and before Eid the shopping for both clothes and food become a ritual. But, why there are too many local clothing brands and boutiques started opening just before Eid? I mean how new boutiques can grab customer’s attention when people have already planned for Eid. And, there is no doubt that people spend loads of money on clothes before Eid but they won’t try anything new so easily unless they would see something unique and vital as compared to other brands that they’ve already tried.
For any new opening it would take time to develop their value proposition and people will gradually see, hear and feel the potential of any newly opened boutique. I am saying all this because in a last few days I’ve seen 3 to 4 boutiques has opened in Town and the same thing had happened last year and in the previous years. However, these new boutiques openings still seems fascinating but they should have opened it before Ramadan or Eid to buy more time and to stable their business. It is my concern which I was thinking lately so do share your thoughts in comments how you see these opening mainly before Eid.

Opening a new restaurant can be risky, especially in Bahria Town almost every restaurant owner is in throes of getting a favorable response from the residents. Of course, restaurant’s food taste, services, and ambiance is more important factors but I believe a right spot for the restaurant plays a significant role to make it a success or may turn out to be a dud.
And, we all know that not every location is right for a new restaurant and I was wondering and couldn’t get an answer why every newly opened restaurant chose Sector D’s location for a start? As I have already mentioned in one of my updates that Sector D is the most unstable spot for any kind of business. It is my concern and do share your thoughts in comments why so many restaurants prefer this area because we have been observing many knockouts from Sector D.
Well, in Sector D there are already 8 restaurants that are serving including Mcdonald’s and 4 restaurants out of 8 are opened over the time of two months. There is another restaurant that has opened recently by the name Bread & Bean-Cafe & Grill. I haven’t seen any road hoardings or heard any news before and after its opening. However, I saw it today and the balloons caught my attention while passing through AA block, and got its menu card which is attached below.
Bread & Bean-Cafe & Grill is offering flat 20% discount on the entire menu. This discount offer is valid on the dine-in, take away and home delivery for one week and you can still have 3 days to avail this discount.
It is located in the basement, 62- AA Block, Sector D. It is adjacent to Smokehouse Grill and opposite to Lahori Khabay, which are also opened a few days ago.
Opening time: 1:00 PM.
Closing time: 1:00 AM.
The new openings of departmental stores, restaurants and dairy shops are on the verge. The opening of the departmental stores are on the top the list and I think restaurants are on the second and the dairy shops are on the third number. Because of each month, one or two openings of departmental stores, restaurants, and dairy shops are expected. And honestly, I am bored to constantly writing about these undemanding venues which we’ve already got more than required and they’re not creating any buzz, except the eat out places. However, these new openings still need an update because maybe the new one would be of better quality than the old ones and have the essential standards to precisely fit into the market and give the customers what they’ve been looking for.
So, there is another dairy shop I’ve spotted today in sector D, which is Milk House, opened on last Friday. Its first branch is located at the main Barki Road and they came to Bahria Town all the way from Barki Road to set up the second branch. Now, they’ve two branches and probably whenever any second branch opened by any business that means the first one has been getting a positive response. And, like others, they also claim that all of their dairy products are farm fresh, organic, and free from any mixing. We all know that every dairy shop has this same declaration and they will never say that their products are impure. So, the only way to check that whether Milk House products are fit for consumption or not is that we need to use it and then we can find out about its purity and quality of taste.
Well, Milk House has eight different dairy products to sell out and you can find the rates of each product below. All of their products are uniquely packed and the prices are also moderate. Free home delivery is a must thing in Bahria Town and they’re offering this service. Here is the contact number and address of Milk House.
23-CC, main road, Sector D, near to Mcdonald’s and adjacent to Auto Max.
Opening time: 6:30 AM.
Closing time: 10:00 PM.
Though Sector D’s commercial zone is surrounded by residential area from all four sides, still it is the most unpredictable and changeable market of Bahria Town. If you’ve seen any new opening, possibly it would be gone after few days and replaced by another venue. We’ve been observing this ‘in and out’ in Bahria Town since the start but comparatively, this market is one of those commercial areas that need to be more stabilized.

Smokehouse grill and Lahori khabay, both of the newly opened restaurants are exactly opposite to each other, located at AA Block, Sector D. The official opening of this restaurant was held yesterday on Friday, 30th March. I’ve got to know that this restaurant is also operational in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia. For now, it is the only branch in Pakistan and they’ve plans to establish more branches in Lahore in near future. In the menu card of Lahori Khabay all types of cuisines are available including Barbque, Chinese, Fast food, and desi food.
