Kitchen ‘N’ Chef Is Active

Though we’ve got a very good number of eat-out places in Bahria Town for all type of foods. Nevertheless, our Town isn’t a gourmet paradise for Chinese-food-lovers. Despite several openings, there are still very limited choices for Chinese Food in the market. If you’re planning to have Chinese food then a few names spring to your mind. China Wok, 4 Kitchenette, CIE Kong and some other restaurants. However, we can say that things are getting better now. It is just a start of winters and two new Chinese restaurants are opened already!

CIE KONG is a newly opened Chinese restaurant which is located at Jasmine Block, Sector C. I wrote about it last month, to check the details go to this link.

Well, from last few days there are a lot of new openings upon us especially restaurants. Every week we’ve been experiencing new openings of restaurants. The official opening was held yesterday on Sunday, 11th November. At Kitchen ‘N’ Chef, you will access a raft of regional Chinese specialties. I got its menu card yesterday which is attached below. They too crafted a very detailed menu card like CIE KONG and not much pricey. More than 230 food items and other deals are added in the menu card.

The Ravians Academy

There was a time around 3 to 4 years back when a few academies were set up in Bahria Town. But didn’t get much recognition and failed to continue except Kips and Unique academy. Which are still the most preferred institutes by students in Town. Maybe at that time, the population was less and the demand was also limited. However, in recent years, the number of these private academies has flown high significantly in each sector of Bahria Town. There are now plenty of options that are available for the students.

Now, every other month a new institute has popped up in Bahria Town and I’ve been sharing the news whenever I got to know about them. Last month, I penned down the details of Phoenix Academy. You can check the details of these academies by clicking here. Here is one more institute that has opened recently.

Rainbow Cash & Carry Opening Soon

Rainbow Cash & Carry is another prominent name in superstores that is now opening soon in Bahria Town. Yesterday, on the way back to Bahria Town, I saw a giant billboard of Rainbow Cash & Carry on the main Canal Road near P&D housing society. And today, visited the location. They’re now all set to open its 7th branch at Sector D.

Rainbow Cash & Carry has different product categories. Offers more than 160 imported and local products in the grocery section. You will get fresh fruits & vegetables, crockery, stationery, toys, food, and a wide range of other consumer’s household. A separate pharmacy is a part of this store, you can buy all kinds of medicines. Moreover, at each store they’ve introduced reward points. So, at Bahria’s branch, you will also get points on every shopping.

A Short History:

Its first branch was opened in 2008 at Wapda Town, Lahore, followed by the second branch at Canal Road, near EME Society in 2012. The third branch started its operation at Rawalpindi Bahria Town in 2016 and two branches, one at Faisal Town, and the other one at D.C. Road Gujranwala. In 2017, one branch of Rainbow Cash & Carry also started its operations at Fatehgarh, Lahore. So, since its inception, the store has expanded in all over Lahore and in other cities as well. According to them, the company is ballooning because of its lowest and competitive rates, quality products, extreme customer care and promotions.

When To Open In Bahria Town:

Though the building they’ve taken is on the final stages of finishing. There is no official date that has been announced yet for its official opening. But, they started stocking-up because I’ve seen 3 to 4 trucks unloading out there. So, you can guess that it would open for customers in a week or two. Whenever I will get to know about its official opening date, it will be mentioned here.

Location:

Rainbow Cash & Carry would be active at CC Block, Sector D, behind Mcdonald’s and adjacent to Sarwar Mosque.

Kobeda Palace Is Closed

The quitting of restaurants from Bahria Town is nothing new for us. In Sector D we have been observing the instability of market for years. Generally, there are hell a lot of closings in Bahria Town but recently in Sector D, Stop n Watch restaurant was closed and this time Kobeda Palace has wiped out. It was opened last year at the end of November.

I do not know when it was out from the market but I saw it yesterday on my way to friend’s place. The restaurant was closed and there was a total blackout at the location. Not to mention,  I remember that I’ve tried their special baked Kobedas with crispy naan which was actually good in taste and very juicy. So, the taste wasn’t an excuse for its closure, the only major drawback is that their choice of location was totally off and couldn’t get much-needed customer’s attention. Also, they have had a very congested sitting area, without any surrounding commercial activity and the traffic flow is too low. It was located in Ayyub Tower, AA block, near to the bridge.
